Loskop Charcoal began with a simple idea: wood already being removed through responsible land management should not simply be wasted.
We work with farmers during responsible bush clearing and orchard renewal. When citrus trees reach the end of their productive cycle, or hardwood and acacia vegetation has already been identified for removal, that material would often be piled and openly burned. We give it a useful second life.
We do not indiscriminately cut healthy trees solely to make charcoal. Our raw material comes from planned agricultural clearing, orchard replacement and responsible land-management work—turning an unavoidable by-product into dependable charcoal and briquettes.
